I want to lay the limecrete tiles on a hempcrete floor. If you are interested I can be contacted at keyplan@eircom.net. I wish I was creative as you are, Catherine!...Cool! I wish I was creative as you are, Catherine! Maybe you would want to do frequently check your pipes to avoid flooding inside your home. I bet you wouldn't want to wait until your tiles crack or your house foundation weakens. If pipes aren't accessible as it should be to check for leaks, you can look for a plumbing company with high-tech devices to detect which pipe is damaged. Anyway, take care. :)
-Darryl Iorio Darryl Ioriohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09643963720153285190noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1000670124114950753.post-27485338762435448152013-04-26T01:34:28.431-07:002013-04-26T01:34:28.431-07:00Thanks for the comment Elia. We did have to dig them up once already... but because we made our own floor it was just a matter of getting the mixer on again and making a few more tiles to repair the floor. :)Catherine Kanehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18155944280433493045noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1000670124114950753.post-59780205613586263802013-04-25T10:31:09.860-07:002013-04-25T10:31:09.860-07:00Excellent! I was wondering if there are water pipes hidden underneath the floor. If there is, I hope you still have easy access to those pipes so that leaks can be prevented. You know, regular maintenance of the pipes are needed in your house, especially the basement. :)

-Elia Lester-Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14107817088744031450noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1000670124114950753.post-79211821669899900742013-04-12T14:40:45.996-07:002013-04-12T14:40:45.996-07:00Thanks for comment. It's more than elegant. But have you considered waterproofing it by using a couple of sealant films? The materials you used are porous, and they can absorb water. And water absorption lessens their shine, making them look dull. How is everything now?

-Carmella Vancil
Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03064089171141624418noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1000670124114950753.post-4561400030292575422012-10-24T01:31:50.867-07:002012-10-24T01:31:50.867-07:00Thanks Elizabeth.
